Dr Loudine van Wyk graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in 2000.

She obtained postgraduate diplomas in Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry, Paediatric dentistry and Endodontic Dentistry. Dr Van Wyk resided in the UK from 2001 until 2015, when she returned to George, her home town. She completed the Certificate in Advance Aesthetic Dentistry at the renowned University College London. Her special interest is smile make overs with understanding of full mouth rehabilitation by means of careful consideration of the temporomandibular joint in a conservative manner.

Dr Van Wyk is passionate about the use of modern direct and indirect adhesive techniques and materials in a minimally invasive approach to help restore beauty, health and function. Her expertise encompasses advanced aesthetic treatments, including aesthetic diagnostics, bio-aesthetics and bio-function for direct, semi-direct and indirect digital workflows.

After years of postgraduate training, she has developed a deep interest and understanding of reconstructive dentistry in a conservative manner.

Paediatric dentistry focuses on the oral health of children from infancy through to adolescence. Dr Van Wyk has a special interest which involves preventive care, education and treatment of dental issues specific to young patients. Paediatric dentists are specially trained to handle the unique dental needs and anxieties of children, ensuring a positive experience and promoting lifelong oral health.

Dr Van Wyk also gained the standing as master clinician and key opinion leader (KOL) for Edelweiss Dentistry ® in South Africa.

Dr Van Wyk believes that being a dentist is more than just a job, as she loves the creativity and interaction with people. “My aim at the end of treatment is to ensure that al patients under my care have healthy teeth, gums, improved aesthetics and function, using the latest innovative scientific techniques.”
